Tell me why embers should shutdown

I have just go see knight legion forum, that more than one year i didn't do this and see on home page that KL shutdown too

KL stop because not enough players were online, i learn that almost all players were gone to .... Embers

So why embers should stop too !

We will get the last players of KL here and we can make Embers one of the best private Wow server

If everybody make advertising for the server on their blogs, on facebook or MSN we can get more people here

Mama don't let this server die I will miss you

P.S : I wish to say that i don't know if i will have the desire to start in another server at lvl 1 so if somebody knows a server were i can migrate my chars let me know.

P.S. : KL AND EMBERS CAN'T STOP AT SAME TIME POST HERE IF YOU THINK THE SAME THING.

KL has been shutdown a while and come back one year ago but it was shutdown another time at begining 2010.

It was a very good site before but when it comes back there was too many bugs in it and i had already migrate to embers and liked the people here.

I want thanks all staff who had work on embers, specially Den and Mama, my favourites GMs.

Please Den, don't shutdown the site or make we can migrate our chars on the new site. I am afrait that it won't be so many good people will stop playing Wow.

That was so a hard work to reach lvl 80 i don't know if i too will have the desire to begin another time at lvl 1.

I dont think you guys comprehend what is happening here, and i hope i dont go outta place to try and explain this...

First i understand what you guys are saying about losing your characters, you put alot of effort into leveling them, but understand thats the nature of the beast, thats part of the game. I would venture to say that everyone of you guys, after achieving lvl 80 and then dancing around the entire world for a few days, started a new character... right? You began lvling a new one, from scratch, and started all over again. This isnt really any different, i know it seems like its alot because your gonna lose something that you have put alot of effort into, understandable and frustrating, i know, but its horrible unfortunate but thats the risk you run with private servers.

Now thats looking at it from your standpoint, but take a look at it from Den's stand point. This game takes up so much time and attention of the Admin/Devs/GMs that unless you have done it you cannot quite grasp the amount of effort it takes. The Admin/Devs/GMs cant even grasp on top of that how much time it takes out of Dens life to keep this server running. If he has stuff to do in his personal life and cannot put that much time and effort into running this, then it is great that he has realized that and is taking action. We should appreciate and respect him for what he has given us in the time that he has given it to us, and all the effort that has been putting into keeping this server running for your entertainment. I think sometimes we take for granted what we have when it is so readily available, and we shouldnt...

Also remember that this other server is a new server that Den will just be helping with, to migrate characters from another server would be insulting to the other individual running the server. Everyone will start from lvl 1, there is no unfair advantage there.

That is perfectly fine, you dont have to agree with me, thats the beauty of an opinion.

And I can't argue the point that i haven't been around and havent been ingame cause that is true, but i have talked to Den and understand where he is coming from, and since he is what i consider a good friend of mine it is only right of me to try to help ppl understand where he is coming from, and whether i have been around or not, I am still a member of this community, as are you, and am entitled to a opinion on this matter

I don't have nothing whith Den.. i agree whith him to shut down the sercer :'(
He have done a great job whith this server...is(was) one of the best...just can't belive that all that time playing will not be there anymore!!!
Anyway if the ppl of this server go on Den new one i can start there to!
because was agreat society : )

First I understand and I respect Den decision to consacrate less time in administration of a server. He have the right to have a real life beside the game.

But I can't agree with your opinion Wacco.

We all have begin a new char after reach lvl 80, that is true i guess, but it not the same to begin all at begining because when we start a new char, the old one helps to lvl up the new one with gold, itemsn and all what is needed for lvl up faster the new ones.

More, the new ones help the old one after beeing lvl up a little.

Exemple : when i start a new char I choose (and i guess we all do the same) others professions for my new char in idea to help my old one Jada with enchantments and glyphs and I had even the desire to start after a new one with Jewelcrafting profession to put good gems on my Jada's gear.

So that is totally different to begining at very start with no money and no good items and begin a new char with heirlooms items and a lot of gold Think about it Wacco !

That is the reason why I want or Embers continue if somebody wants take the baby or that the new server should accept migration characters.

Whatever you decide Den I want to thank your for all your work here and also the others GMs and staff.

I hope you will accept my opinion and accept migration characters.

Thats a good point and I understand what your saying Mojo, and its not gonna be easy, i know that. but atleast everyone on the server will have the same struggle as you will, and without the high levels running around will help support a strong Auction House, and help you to make new friends in the game. i garuantee when you started here, or playing in general, you had no idea how many friends you would make and how much fun you would have with them. So i am just saying it as, dont look at it so much as the loss that it may be, but as an opportunity to make new friends, meet new ppl, and have alot of fun at it in the mean time. You will get another character to 80 in no time if thats what you really want

We do respect everyone's comments and such. I have just made a post under den's "thank you and goodbye" I hope that it helps a little more. I know it won't help with the fact that we do have to start from lvl 1 again.

kl has been dead and gone since some time during 2009 and never died agin at the beging of this year becuse it was never alive i know becuse for some time we where acepting migrations from kl lol + if u go to there forums and look at the dates it proves it the only post from 2010 are darkbalde and there talking about bring it back for deablo 3

You know im just going to have to say this the tan way. Darkloord you may not know who wakko is but first off show some respect towards him. I know you were trying to be nice wakko but you know me . Wakko is a legend around Knights legion and Embers. Hell believe it or not he was one of the very few that could keep me of all people in check(Yeah i know its unbelievable) Now your probably wondering who the hell i am and honestly you really dont want a answer to that one either but show as much respect as you would mama or den because he is ranked right up there with them.

Show some respect man. The guy was on the server long before you (or I) came. Doesn't matter that he doesn't play here, anymore...

Guys, there is somewhat of a language barrier. Darklord tried to fix it in a later post. There is no disrespect on Dark's part - or was not meant to be taken that way.

And everyone, I want to stress again how fun and exciting this is going to be! It's also like a challenge to everyone! ... This is a FRESH start. The realm isn't open just yet. So all those "Realm's First" Achievements are out there waiting to be taken! Everyone has come so far here, I know. Take the knowledge that you have learn here, and convert it to getting those achievements first!

I just know that this new server is the spark we needed once again! Also, I did want to mention that I can assure you that GM's cannont play on their GM accounts. We all will have separate accounts for playing just like you! Things are going to be different on the new server, but all is for the BEST!
