This is a guideline for how we run lvl70 PvP tournaments at Embers of the Legion (stay tuned for lower level guidelines).

At least 8 participants
This is considered a tournament big enough to have non-G prizes. Awards are as follows:

• 1st place - 1 migration token
  
• 2nd place - 150G
  
• 20 AP for each round participated in (meaning, you get 20 if knocked out in 1st round, 40 if knocked out in 2nd, etc)

Less than 8 participants
This is considered too small to give out such a high reward as a migration token (not enough people means it could be advantageous to one player vs another). Awards are as follows:

• 1st place - 250G
  
• 2nd place - 100G
  
• 10 AP for each round participated in (meaning, you get 10 if knocked out in 1st round, 20 if knocked out in 2nd, etc)

Rules & Guidelines
Anyone in violation of these rules is subject to ejection from the tournament.

• You must follow the commands and direction of the GM running the event at all times
  
• Buffs that are not from you (ie, your class, your own food, your own professions, or your own potions) are strictly prohibited
  
• As mentioned above, potions are allowed, as are all profession-based items
  
• DO NOT fight or pvp outside of the organized tournament ran by the GM on site
  
• Once a tournament starts, no new participants may join unless it is to even out brackets on the first round
  
• Tournaments will always be in Gurubashi Arena, Strangethorn Vale
  
• Start on the bottom against the wall, if you lose, you go up top, if you win, you return to the wall
  
• Get to events early so it can run smoothly and efficiently
  
• When fighting in a battle, use /duel. This is because the computer decides who wins, not humans
